Sheena, the artist behind the brand, and I believe even the smallest spark of beauty can bring light to a dark day. That’s why I pour my heart into handmade jewelry, resin art, and custom gifts designed to uplift and inspire.
Creating Through the Pain
Living with Small Fiber Sensory
Neuropathy and Fibromyalgia means my life has been shaped by chronic pain, anxiety, and depression. After a work injury ended my career as a veterinary technician, I found myself in one of the
darkest chapters of my life. So, like my younger self, I turned back to art—and it
saved me.
Jewelry making started as therapy, but it
soon became a passion. A way to
express myself, find peace, and share
beauty with others who might need it,
too.
Why "Annie J"?
My brand is named in honor of the
people who helped shape my artistic
journey:
• "Annie" is for my great-grandmother
Annie Ruth, a matriarch with dreams of
being an artist who brought me to art
classes as a child.
• "J" is for my uncle Rodney, an
incredibly talented artist who passed
away from AIDS. His love for drawing
helped light my own creative fire.
Through my work, I carry their spirits
forward—bringing their legacy to life in
every piece.

As a Black woman living with disabilities,
I know how it feels to be overlooked.
That’s why I’m using my art to show that
disability is not the end—it’s the
beginning of something powerful. Annie
J Accessories is my way of sharing joy,
representing those often unseen, and
proving that beauty, strength, and
creativity live in all of us.
